Mixed supermarket driving be enough for foreign job offer

Assuming I drive a few years for a supermarket and 3 or 4 days a week are class 1, but the other day(s) are in a 18T or 26T rigid, would that be a problem? I’m thinking the authorities would mind more than the company offering a job, but then again how would they even check on this?

It’s not a problem if you have the relevant licences.

So long as you can show experience in the class of vehicle then it will count.

dont really follow your reasoning, cos if you have a c+e entitlement {class 1 } to work for a supermarket then you will automatically be able to drive 26 t,18t, 7,5t, why would you think it would cause a problem.

Nor do I, what problems are you thinking it could cause with any authority?

The problem I thought, was that they’d suggest I hadn’t had enough time in class 1 vehicles.

I’m over thinking this, but then again I don’t want to accept this supermarket job and then effectively waste two years because for some BS reason I can’t use that experience to work overseas (my objective for getting my C+E),

You wont have a problem just tell them you were driving class 1 dont mention class 2

It wont matter if you have driven a class 1 for ten minutes or ten years why would that stop you driving anything else. dont you understand if you have a class 1 entitlement you automatically have entitlement to drive anything else for any length of time in any place carrying its legal payload to any destination. is that plain enough for you. the only thing any authority will stop you driving for is not having the relevant licence or not complying with driving hours and regulations.

It would stop me driving full stop if hypothetically, all I had was class 2 experience and I wanted to work in Oz or Canada.

How would they know how much time you had spent driving what class of vehicle? All you need to do is put a positive spin on it, and say that you have mostly driven artics but have also driven rigids and are adept at driving both.
