Hello can someone please explain in simpler terms the rules/regs on driving a lorry and van on the same day and in the same week ? Thanks
Any work that isn’t driving a tachograph equipped vehicle must be recorded as other work.
You need to do a manual record for this time, either by doing a manual entry when you subsequently use a vehicle with a tachograph, or on paper using analogue charts or printout paper.
And remember, although you aren’t required to to take driving breaks when driving a non-tachograph vehicle, you are still subject to RTWTR rules, so need to record breaks which comply with that.

Uk domestic regs are under the normal WTD and can be opted out of in full so do not count for RTWTR
Thanks guys . So would the working hours of driving a van still count for rtwtd?
