I know it’s a long shot but were any drivers on the forum driving on the A35 between Dorchester and honiton yesterday and maybe saw or picked up a local missing man? I’ve included a link to the Dorset police news page with his photo and description. He’s a family friend with a young family who are desperately worried about him. The story seems to have been taken down and the link now just goes to the story index. Has he been found?
Sadly the outcome was not a good one. Kev had been suffering with mental health issues for a few years and unfortunately his body was recovered from the foot of some nearby cliffs by specialist search teams on Thursday evening. He has left a wife and young daughter behind. Whether it was a lack of funding in the mental health service or us blokes inability to open up to friends or family about emotions, I don’t know, but if one thing comes out of this it should be that we need to start talking about any issues among ourselves and to keep an eye out for our fellow drivers.
