Minor cosmetic restoration required?

Thought you might like to see these pics of an old water bowser truck I was sent to collect on Friday from a quarry in Lincolnshire. It has been aquired by a company in Nottingham for ‘restoration’!! It was living in a hedge and had to be dragged out by the JS220 I had just delivered to the quarry.

As quite a large proportion of it was lying in heaps of rust on the trailer when I got it there, I don’t think this particular vehicle will ever roll again!!

Anyone know what it is? (BTW, sorry about the pic quality - taken on my ancient mobile phone…)

Its an Austin MK11 3 t. petrol. I drove one in the Army…Glorified jeeps.

you willbe surprised as when the restorers are finished it will look like new mate, nice pictures by the way.

ARC are still around but they are called Hanson now . They changed name in 1999 and trucks are now painted blue and orange.
