The job is still going at Warminster school,£400 per month,for a few hours in the morning,then in the afternoon,email to charlotte mozly.CRB check is carried out,in the driver vacancy section too.
Who pays for the DCPC? 
There might be more takers on a bus or coach forum.Have seen a few similar jobs on offer with a ridiculously low rate of pay.When you consider what the masters are taking and what the school fees are ,its a bloody disgrace.
I’ve done this job before and would only advise it if you’re retired or are out of work…with this sort of job you can’t do anything inbetween so it ■■■■■ on that front.

Don’t get me wrong, as a retirement job its very good as its easy…but the hours are longer than you think…When I done it, my morning started at 0630 picking the bus up and doing my checks and stuff, then at the “school ■■■■■■” lady’s house for 0700 then at the first pupils house for 0745…you go to various places picking up each pupil and drop them off at school for about 0900-0930…then you’ve got to take the ■■■■■■ lady home…then you get about 4 hours to yourself and you have to do the exat same thing in reverse…so all in all you’re working about 6 or 7 hours. Good job for seeing out your days…but its not really something you can do whilst doing other work. Plus you get all your holidays off when the kids do…which means about 12 weeks of the year or more you don’t get any pay.

I go to a private school most days and thats the score there -its that school at the bottom of the hill on the A339 outside Newbury with the blue minibuses, its fun trying to get a full size coach in there

What do I need to drive some old gimmers in a community care bus? Supermarkets and bandage changes at the walk in centre etc.

Yeah, I used to do the jew jew’s private school, and also did a few other school runs, taking kids from rough arse areas of manchester to knutsford high because their parents thought they were too good to mingle with the ‘normal kids’. If only they saw what they got upto on the coach.
