Went to Edinburgh Tuesday PM got into ind est nr airport ok customers yard entrance cleared ok
tipped then couldnt get out of yard as rest of yard under a foot of snow. Everybody out shovelling & gritting to get me out up incline to road had to park it overnight on side road to let snowplough/gritters onto estate
eventually got recovered wednesday night dragged me uphill backwards to get me out even on main rd no traction. The recovery driver advised me to park up as everywhere was the same, couldnt get parked safely anywhere so continued back to west yorkshire very very carefully.Shift from hell not helped by “planners”
no shovel no grit/salt no snowchains recut tyres etc.

I managed fine in edinburgh on wednesday, i had 2 drops, first one had about a foot of snow and they had cleared a path for the forklift, i got to my second drop and could not deliver as they had not cleared the snow so couldnt get the forklift out. I only got stuck once and that was last night when i had to pick up some xmas trees from a forest near Bigga. Luckily the guy had a manitou to pull me out of the 5’ drift i got stuck in.
