Military Driver changing to Commercial

I obtained my Class 1 licence through the Army and have had my license for a few years. I am now looking to move into commercial driving but need to get Module 4 so I can do CPC (this is not required for the Army). I have tried phoning a few training places but they have said they do not offer Module 4 on its own.

Does anyone know anywhere that does this in Central Scotland?

If u have had it a few years should u not just need the 35hrs periodic dcpc ?

when did you pass your test? is the first important question.

knowing the army you possibly have to do modules 2 and 4 to obtain your dqc if you passed your test after September 2009.

As far as I’m aware if you passed the HGV test with the army you need modules 2 and 4 to drive commercially.

However if you held any HGV licence category C1 or higher on the 9th of September 2009 you need to do 35 hours periodic training rather than the initial DCPC.

What area are you looking for mod 4 (or 35 hours) in the UK?

If you do need mod 4 then have you done mod 2 theory?

I passed Class 1 in Feb 2012.

I have passed the Module 2 theory.

cttstraining.co.uk/prices.php - scroll down to initial driver cpc price for 1 day which infers they might do it as an alone item
