This brings back fond memories!
1998’ passed my class 2 3 weeks and agency put me on a certain green n white haulier based at Crick (one of many depots!) when they had a fleet of rigids! First scania i ever drove, P cab rigid, 4 over 4 gearbox! Was like a donkey with 9 [zb’s] although I did get rather confused at first as to why so many people in cars were flashing and waving at me!

It’s very sad when the highlight of a young mans life is getting behind the wheel of a lorry
As Adrian Kronour (Good Morning Vietnam) said “More in need of a ■■■■■■■■ than any other man”

When I was young and just started driving I did get excited about getting to drive a nice truck, but not so excited I’d tell half of Europe on a public forum
I thought he was gonna say he had reached a million miles FFS

I didn’t forget anything … and I did say that I was as keen when I started out, so if you are gonna quote someone at least read the quote first.
Whats with the ‘Big US truckerman’ bit ? …I am not proud to drive a pile of American made crap.
