Does anybody know what they are like to work for?

I’ve noticed that they have an outbase on Bolckow Industrial Estate near Teesport. I was talking to one of their drivers on King George Dock in Hull the other week. He mentioned that they might be taking on at the moment, and he seemed more than happy enough. Their fleet seems to be comprised of 13 to 18-plate Mercs (one of the latter being a left-■■■■■■, so it must go over the water). One of the reasons why I’m interested is because I would to work for an outfit that might give me an opportunity to drive in mainland Europe (my current mob does UK-only).

I have already sent my CV to them and should be getting a date for an interview within the next day or so.

Their main depot is in Zeebrugge, but as far as I know the UK lads (Hull based) just pick up trailers that are shipped out from there and deliver over here.
That was the way it was anyway…unless things have changed .
Maybe the left ■■■■■■ was a Belgian motor?

Sounds a bit like Smeets then where the left ■■■■■■ is bought abroad then registered and deployed over here. Much easier to buy LHD in Europe.

Robroy. It’s British reg. I see it regularly over here.

Not sure if the driver is British though.
