Does anyone know Access,
Why is it when i name the Switchboard on the data base i cant put an & in the name
Example … bodge it & scarper
I enter the & but it doesnt show up
Using office XP 2002 on Xp home
Any ideas why would be welcome

The ampersand symbol (&) is a reserved character in Access. If you place it before another letter on a button or menu option it creates a shortcut key combination. So that if you press ALT + the letter that follows the ampersand, then it will trigger that button, or menu option.
I thought that there was a way to overcome that, but I am struggling to remember it at the minute.
