Just for reference - the original Michelin Man is 18’’ tall - there’s only one of them on ebay!
I still have my original one from 1978 (bought from EVR in Dover Eastern Docks), its never been on a truck. I have had it fixed to a wall or shelf etc… in every house I’ve lived in - and now has pride of place in my front room here in Adelaide.

A word of warning when handling old Michelin men - they become very brittle and crack easily. Handle with care! I think this applies to all old men actually - not just the Michelin variety.

Mine commited suicide years ago when he dived of the mirror arm of my F7 on the m62.

All i had was a plastic duck mounted on the mirror arm it was all i could afford, must have been “quackers”. The original rubber duck eh.

Never had one in the old days, but now I have two on my FG runabout, got them on ebay around two years ago for £45 & £50ish
£750 umm! maybe time to cash them in then again maybe not.
