I am not sure if this is the right place to put this so apologies if I am wrong. Sadly, Michael Grimoldby died on the 26th of May 2013 aged 69 in Lincoln.
Mick Grim, during the 70’s and 80’s traveled to the far east and he may have been there in the late 60’s too. From about 1985 until 2003 he drove for Phil HanLey out of Lincoln and Belle Eau Park. Before he retired he did some work into north Africa, for Mann international i think, and then for a Newark company doing Italian work. Mick was a lad that just lived for trucks and I am sure known by many of you and I will miss him.
Mick’s funeral is at Lincoln on the 14th May at 11.10
god bless mick

Like many drivers of that age,we may well have passed like ships in the night on the highways of the UK, Europe or Asia.
Never met,but still a brother trucker,Rest in Peace.
