there is a firm still going in germany called mevissen who hire fridge trailers, and they’ve been going for quite a few years

It could be the same company BD, thanks for that. I will investigate further, Im fairly sure they were haulage men but diversification works. Thanks

I am fairly sure that it was Meyvissen with a Y and they did Greece and Italy, was hoping someone else from that era may remember Hans. A typical Brummi trucker

I was chatting to my mate on the phone yesterday, and he reminded me of a German driver we met.
I was last with Hans (obviously) in Athens, but I have seen the trucks in Poland too.
Just dont remember seeing them recently
