Im currently serving in the army and i have full class 1 and iv recently signed off to get out the army in 3months, now iv contacted metcalfe farms in leyburn near cattrick to see if they would be taking on any new drivers they replyed back saying thanks for your details please keep in contact with us when you get out the army so i was just wondering if theres any ex militery on here that drive for them just for tips on getting a job with them im really wanting to work for this company all i hear is good things about them.

what makes you so keen to work for Metcalfe Farms ?
theres a firm of Metcalfs who have a yard at Brompton on swale, just north of Catterick, there artics are based there I, think. although it may not be the same firm,as they have red artics. Its on gaffney industrial estate, I was doing tipper work for roadstone on the same estate,and some of there wagons were in Roadstones yard, think the mechanics do all, it may help to call round on speck, and it might even be a branch of the same firm
