There are a few here
there is a post on here somewhere about them, first time i remember seeing them was summertime, i think in Budapest maybe, could have been Bucharest? there were 3 of them i think all Scanias. Try using the search facility at the top of the page. They were waiting at a set of lights id just turned right at, and seemed surprised to see another UK truck, just as i was surprised to see 3 UK trucks! Nice tidy trucks.
i could be wrong v man, but i think thats a different outfit, i remember when i was a lad on me holidays in hawes there was a metcalfes with some very well turned out volvos parked in the town, seen them since on the a1 i believe recentlyish, red volvos
The Metcalfes from Hawes had cattle trucks, AEC/Sed Atk and possibly LAD cabbed Dodge before that, I only see them with Tauts now though.
The Metcalfe farms motors i have seen lately have been blue Toplines or FHs usually pulling low loaders carrying Tanks, APCs ect.
the ones i saw were blue i think, they had swan neck low loaders i think and 1 may have had a flat. I coudnt get a good look as i was under a police ■■■■■■ to get to the gig! running a bit late so had 3 motorcycle cops hold all the traffic up so we could run on the limiter. Definatly not red Volvos thou Vern.

metcalfe farms trucks are blue i work at their yard at the garage.
They do a lot of MOD work, a mate of mine subbies for them.

Dave Waite who runs Waite and Son, based in Southampton. He knows one of the girls in the office who used to live down this neck of the woods.
He only has 1 low loader on Metcalfe Farms work.
i know the man that drives the daf i fitted power leads to that truck when he bought it used to be martin parrotts from east yorkshire.

The one and only Pete Woods is the driver for it. To be fair, that Daf hasn’t turned out to be a bad truck. Dave bought it as a bit of a stopgap. It was a lot older than anything he would normally buy, but has turned out to be a good truck.
His fleet is all Scania with the exception of the Daf and he hadn’t planned to keep it long, but its still there and Pete loves it, and doesn’t want to move onto a Scania so might be kept for some time yet 
last time a saw and spoke to him was in our yard his trailer had just been painted
You will catch them down spain and portugal with machines on and they load tiles back.

Thats going back a few months now. He borrowed one of your trailers if I remember right when his was in for respray.
