A while ago I saw some metal meshing embedded into a car park at a hostel in Mechelen Belgium.
A few month ago I spoke to someone who said they use metal meshing on the grass at music concerts for the delivery wagons to park on.
He also added that there is a hire company out there that hire them out.
But a google search has brought up no results
Thanks.
Those where not the kind of grids I had in mind.
But how do you think they would work on a corner when the wagon is turning.
Do you think they will come apart.
And do you think they will sink on softer ground.
I have worked at music festivals and the Ryder cup where there have been contractors laying temporary roadways on grass .The system works quite well even in the rain.
This is the military stuff - still used today, slightly more refined. Have seen it used to install temporary runways all over the world, but used effectively in Afghan and Iraq.

So you managed to manoeuvre and reverse the lorry scrubbing the trailer tyres OK then?
