Want to put my cb in but how do you get the consul out so you can get to the wiring at the back and is there a 12v feed up there. Cheers.
When I did mine, I piggy backed from the back of the 12v CIG lighter, and ran a cable up the inside of the windscreen pillar trim. The worst part was getting into the back of the top console from the pillar, took a bit of pushing and pulling and a bit of lost skin. The aerial was a magmount on the back of the cab, fed in through the sunroof, and poked in over the top of the top cupboards, and again fished for, losing more skin!
When I fit accessories, I use matching plugs and sockets to the back of the CIG lighter, connected to the accessory cable via a 4 way bullet connector.
This is one of the plugs I mean:
Do people still use CB radio ?

It is indeed a 12/24v jobbie that I have too. It was wired at first into the Fleetboard thingy but was giving a wierd “pulsing” effect, so I just bribed one of our fitters to rewire it to the interior light switch just to the left of the CB, job sorted.
