I have a 2002 model Merc Atego 1023, 231 bh. For the last 12 mths or so I felt power decreasing in the truck. I have cleaned the fuel tank, primary & secondar filters and fuel lines to no avail. I have had turbo checked and a recon done and still no change. I have checked intercooler and pipes and still no change. I fitted boost presssure sensor and again no joy. Truck computer Mr diagnostic function shows “06044” and to date I have been unable to find what this means.
Can anyone help me translate this code?? Any suggestions??
