Hi all
Would the new shape megaspace come fitted with a fridge as standard does anyone know. It’s a 62 plate. I’m a Scania man really and am waiting to won over by the new Merc. Looks impressive enough but what’s the spec like inside?

Depends how much your gaffer loves you regarding what spec you get. But the fact he’s got you a Merc over a Scania shows some promise. 
I had a 510 demo with all the bells and whistles and I thought it was a great truck. Don’t know if the fridge comes as standard
I had a 450 mega that had the fridge, but I looked in a 420 narrow cab that didn’t have, so not standard in all Actros’ but not sure if it’s standard in the big cabs or not?
We have the gigaspace cabs they have the fridge fitted.

Far as i know the wide cab has a frigo as standard.
We’ve got Megaspace Mercs and one Gigaspace, all wide cabs. All came with a fridge fitted.
As for if one is bigger than the other. The Gigaspace cab is the same height,width and depth as a Megaspace. Some rearrangement of interior fixtures and fittings may make it a bit more roomy, but there can’t be much in it.

Have a look again when they are parked next to each other you will find that the gigaspace has a wider top from the top of the door to the top of the roof.
yes they are the same height but the gig is bigger than the mega.

I’m maybe getting the model below the Gigga, is the interior as big, bigger, smaller, or same as the old model Megaspace

Let’s put it this way I’m over 6 ft and I stand on the passenger seat and my head is nowhere near the roof so yes you will.[SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]
We don’t have fridges in ours, although I’m towing a 45ft one so it’s not an issue, although a microwave would have been handy!
We have four Gigaspaces, two artics and two rigids, none have fridges. The only difference I could notice between giga and mega was the mega only had one drawer below the bunk.
You get stream space, big space and giga space, can’t see any coming with fridges unless it’s ordered that way. I though the overall hight of the giga was more than the old mega space? On the giga space the air horns have to go on the side of the cab so it’ll fit under the bridge’s in Europe.

Ok I have found the switch on the dash,but the fridge still don’t appear work !! is there another knob on the fridge itself im missing !! like a thermostat so you can set the temp ?

Yes there’s a dial type knob at the front of the fridge just above the light.
Everything has to be asked for on a merc even the giga space won’t come with a top bunk unless you speck one as our lot found out
Shame they haven’t got LED tail lights like the new FH, that’s all I think now when I see one. Hopefully they’ll update them, new Scania’s are arriving with LED’s now.
