Merc SK - N38 VVP - early history... Any help?

Hey all,

Came across this the other day… N38 VVP and wondered what the history was? Current owners say it came from Sparshatt’s of Kent over a decade ago but I’d love to know who had it from new if anyone knows? Sun visor has “Free spirit” decal taken off.

Cheers
Ben

Are they not William C Hockins colours from Barnstaple?

Somebody will be along soon, to tell us what a fantastic truck that was, and that modern trucks are not a patch …etc…blah blah…

SK worst truck I’ve ever had to drive. And ive driven Iveco, Seddon Atki 310, Renault Premium. … even Scania is better than the wretched SK .

I like them. VP was Birmingham, if that’s any use.

nearly bought one - glad I didn’t settled for a Iveco turbostar it was that bad.

Didn’t know that… potentially helpful.
