Merc Axor Service light

Hi Folks.

First post on the forum so here goes!

Ive got an 2010 Axor, and the service light has been on for ages… I service the truck myself, but i cant turn dash warning off.

Does anyone know how to turn the service warning off or reset it?

Thanks

Just press the back button (4 buttons in a cross) but you have to keep doing it every time the ignitions on…
Is it a 4 legged or a 6?

Its a 6 legger…

Yeah i do that already, i wondered if there was a way of getting rid until it wants another service

I used to ba able to turn it off on my old Actros. Can’t remember exactly but I’m sure there was a little button on the dash that you needed to poke a pen in to push it, and press another button at the same time while in the service munu. Can’t remember what button exactly though. Axor would be the same in imagine.

PS. Are you really a Manx Trucker?

Cheers for that… Ill have another look at the dash and see.

Yep, sure am! Are you over here too?

No mate I’m from Glasgow but my dad was a Manxman. Born in Douglas. I have the surname to prove I’m half Manx though. Quine!

A Quine! True Manx… Im a Corlett, another good Manx name…

My service lights been on for four years I forgot about it till I just read the post, when I first start it up if I check the oil after a minute on the computer it then goes off till I have to start the motor again

Right… i think ive figured it out… If you navigate to the service menu and go to the item that requires service, then if you get a pen, and as mentioned above, press the recessed button in the dash, it is at the bottom smack in the center.

That’s the one but I’m sure you had to press another button at the same time. I still can’t remember which one though.

Any relation to famous Steam Packet skipper, Captain Basil Corlett?
