Anyone tell me what this warning is on a 63 plate merc axor?
Your dif lock is turned on.
You must be noticing your truck wanting to go straight ahead when you turn the steering.
Look to your left you will see a knob with that symbol under it. Turn it and it will come off
Must be a fault with it then as it would flicker on and off randomly throughout the night. Think it originally came on when on the motorway, no odd pulling either way or strange driving behaviour. Maybe a wiring fault with the switch?
It’s a Mercedes - a bit like tesco clubcard points. Save up the faults and when you have enough you win a new truck. Only it will carry your faults over!
Trucks usually do this as an age related thing as the sensor gets rusty from road salt and flickers the light on the dash although the diff isn’t locked. Surprising on new but would think it’s not adjusted right to start with rather than corrosion.

:lol::lol:
Its "display locks"it doesnt mean you have diff lock engaged.Some trucks have limited slip diffs fitted and this tells you when the diff lock reaches the lock in point.Really its for construction trucks with cross diff locks or steering axle drive.
If you search the menu you will come to “display locks” with yes or no click the no and it will take it off the screen.
Go menu,sub menu “settings” sub sub menu display locks.

It is the diff lock warning light though. When the diff lock is on, the picture of the diff on the dash is completly filled in, as it is in the OPs photo. When its off, the diff is not filled in.
