The plastic jack plug on my 12v fridge has melted!
Any idea how to prevent this from happening again, and is there a heavy duty replacement??
If you have a hella type socket in the cab then use that. 12 volt plugs on fridges do have a tendancy to get quite hot though. When I had 1 I had a normal household socket from the main terminals inside the fuse box and a normal household plug on the fridge.
