Meeting the new boys on the snow covered mountain...tahir

i`m feeling guilty with writing so much…be calling it truckys page next…so all of you get writing…

I’m all for it, i really enjoy reading everyones trucking tales please keep them coming

I have only been trucking since 99 so am really a newbie and as i wasn’t born until 1971 missed all the M/E stuff but am fasinated by all the stories it must of been on hell of a job/journey/adventure.

I would of loved to have done it but i doubt wether i could of.

Could any of you that have done the M/E please tell me how to spot someone that is talking out of thier arse as it seems that i am the only one where i work that has not done it :open_mouth: :open_mouth: but notice that when i start asking about it suddenly they have to go

Anyway thanks to all for your stories they make my day

Great read thanks to you all,can almost feel the cold snow over the mountain,BRR.!
Truckyboy drivers that pull stunts like that with your cooking gear, perhaps show why very few seem to have time to stop and help nowadays.
Remember one snowy sunday morning going over Glenshane mountain towards Derry , a car passed me at a rapid rate of knots, fishtailing up the road.
Of course round the next bend there he is buried in the ditch.
So I pulls up gets my rope out of the toolbox(yes Owner driver) and pulls him out,he says “look at ******* my car”,jumps in and drives off.
never mind a bottle of Johnny Walker a thank you would have done.
regards derek
