I stopped in this truckstop in 1990 on its second day of opening when it was a BP Truckstop, There was ten of our trucks out there ( walker transport ) some of CCC’s and some of Russell Davis trucks loading at the army camps in Germany for the first gulf war.
Spotted a couple of Transam trucking trucks in this video.
Cafe Joost was on the Dutch side of the border, behind the agents offices if I remember correctly, they now run the shop in what was the BP, I am not sure if they own the whole site though.
Cafe Joost was the place to go for CB equipment and repairs in the past, their shop in the old BP is good, but I don’t think it is as good as their old place.

Joost run both sides now, One of the girls transferred over to the the Dutch side in the restaurant. I preferred the old Joost but it never opened all weekend.
Was in both sides last week (Hazeldonk being the Dutch side, which I prefer) but the Meer side is having barriers put in,so it looks like they’ll be charging before long!
