My licence runs out start of November. Im 42.
Do i need a medical?
42 seems like a strange age for your licence to expire. Are you sure you don’t just need to update your photo on it, this has to be done every 10 years

45 is normally when you need to take your first age related medical. However, I moved house just before I was 45 so sent my licence back for the address change. When it came back they’d put the renewal date on by 2 years which would have made me 47.
I would think in your case as already said it’ll be just the 10 yearly photo update.

I have had my licence since the age of 21, I had to first renew it at 45, 50, and just at 55 …
I may be wrong though but I think I read all new LGV licences are valid for 5 years along with the Driver CPC and Tachograph cards, as I say may be imagining things… it is an age thing lol
