Try changing the photo on the photocard - it might give you another 5 years BUT you still need to explore that medical issue
The positive side is that compulsory medical picked up your heart condition which might otherwise have gone undiagnosed.

it the reason why health issues like this, that make me think this loophole should be closed.
Sometime ROG giving that advice is probably NOT a good idea.
Fix the driver 1st, and not the licence
Depending on what your heart condition is it may not be a revoke, If it’s easily treatable the Doctor may tell you not to drive until it’s sorted.
Just let the DVLA know on a personal note I’ve had two episodes of being told by my doctor not to drive and DVLA have not revoked my licence.
Did the doc say what exactly? Get another opinion and see what the other doc says (don’t say another one found something) but DONT ignore any issue that may be there. It doesn’t hurt to double check what you are told.
with the symptoms im showing up and what he reckons, its angina, further tests to come. but what gets up my nose is now that its on my medical records i have to declare even though the test havent been done yet, this seems really unfair, its some ones lively hood there playing with

Although to take the other view, it’s everyone else’s lives they are potentially playing with…

i know it’s a shock finding out but it’s amazing what they can do nowadays with heart conditions, dont let it get too you till you know for sure but it’s better finding out now than at the side of some road or strange town
