Medical Exam (Weight)

This may sound like a stupid question but…

I have my medical in 2 weeks time, I’ve been reading up on it all online.
The one thing I cant seem to find out… Can you fail the medical if your over a certain weight?

I am packing a few extra pounds but I haven’t got any health problems through my weight.
The current job i’m in is physical (Heavy Lifting) and it doesn’t effect me any more than other (Thinner) members of staff.

Does anyone have the answer for me? (Preferably answers that don’t take the p*ss)

Speaking from the ‘larger gentleman’s corner’ too, I can re-assure you that from what you have described you should be fine.
I recently ‘did’ the medical and there are no stupid BMI bands or max. weights.
The only things to be consider might be some weight-related issues like diabetes and sleep apnea - but you said you have scanned through those.
In fact, I’m thinking most replies are going to be along the lines of you already having a head-start in the trucking business

So now that you have a reasonably sensible answer, does it mean we can crack on with the piddle-taking?

That’s not in the medical any more.

Love it
Didn’t even see the gag I’d setup at the time of writing… hmmm unusual for me, I must be getting old or something :open_mouth:
