Looking for advice on this one.
I only retrained as a Class 1 driver about 4 years ago so had my medical then.
I will be 45 next month.
My licence states C+E valid until 2021
Logged in to gov.uk to check my licence, no big red nasty warnings on my licence
Have not received the medical forms pack as stated 56 days before renewal
Do i need the medical or not? Trying to get the correct advice is proving impossible and obviously im trying to earn a living here so cant risk them taking my licence.
Ive also wrote to the DVLA and ordered the forms in the meantime…
Would appreciate any solid knowledge on the subject.

Good to go til 2021 pal. There’s a loophole which ROG 
will be along to tell you about, but as your licence states 2021 you’re clean and green

If the expiry of your vocational categories C, C+E are not until 2021 then you wont need a medical until that year, I wouldn’t be asking them for D2 for D4 forms
If your last licence issue was before october 2012 then change your photo in 2020 - well before the 2021 expiry date - and you will get LGV medical extended until 2025
