Had a medical aged 42 to add cat c provisional to licence. Do I then have to have another medical aged 45■■ …or 47 when the current 5 years is up■■? Much appreciated in advance

47 52 57 62 then at nearly 66 followed by annuals
The expiry date next to the cat C on the licence will show the exact expiry date of the medical

Because DVLA say from age of 45, you need a medical every 5 years. I wondered if you had to get another done at 45 irrespective

Every 5 years after age 40 would be better so you doing at 42 then 5 years later
They should send you the forms so don’t worry
