Move back, Mr Denby!

Interesting idea is that it has two engines - second one is located in one of the troleys:

The idea is there since 1980s when they developed model Perestroika: commercialmotor.com/big-lorr … L0fj3ATTrk

Some new model:

Contrary to popular opinion in Trucknet, Eastern manufacturers do modern trucks. They might not have fancy looks, but they are for sure pratcical, and believe or not, the one on the right csan be fitted with Russian Euro 4 engine and the one on the left is Euro 4 or Euro 5:

Tour around the cab. 80’s are calling… …but it is just kept simple and cheap. Driver’s window is wind up, but it have climatronic, ASR and all modern toys…

Ma3 6440:

TV report on it (In Russian or Belarussian):

They can heal their small ■■■■■ complexes with bonnetted lorries there, the legal lenght limit is 18.45 metres

And some random stuff:

Cassette player in show truck in 2012…

MAZ still has a lot to go if it wants to keep up with big players like Scania or Mercedes, but they aim rather on the markets East from Belarus, and that can be seen from their proporsitions: simple, spartan vehicles, that can copy with harsh conditions.

There are some MAZ trucks on Polish roads, some cities also use their buses - opinions are that altough they are less reliable, they are much cheaper to fix…

Here a picture of one of their buses converted (in Poland) to Troleybus:

And for a dessert: a concept:

Here another one looks quite interesting

If you look at the other videos looks like you can link them all up like a train

Here few more from above

But that just concepts, computer animations… Belarusians have product ready…

Hi Orys

For the weather they have it would suit them to keep the trucks simple as too many electronics just cause problems in that part of the world. Maz and Kamaz are the mainstay of the economy in many ex Russian states and all because the driver does not need a computer to repair it at the side of the road just some will power and a little knowledge of the truck he is driving.
