Just learn to use mirrors and reverse properly
Clever. But anyone who needs it should be banned from towing. Same as park assist.
That will be the next thing they put on units…put a camera on back of trailer, move the guide lines on screen on dash on unit to where you want to park the trailer, select reverse & it reverse parks itself
A clever but of kit. Never had a problem reversing a trailer that’s as wide or wider than the towing vehicle but I think this could really help when you get a small trailer that you can’t see in the mirrors.
Camera on the back of a trailer is a good idea. Would save a lot of grief given the amount of numpties that’ll continue to go past you as you reverse despite your size, hazard warning and reverse lights and a reverse beeper going off.
Yeh great idea, bring it on.
Let’s do away with learning the ONLY skill that is left that differentiates you from driving an artic to a car, as all the others we once had to learn are not needed either.
More dumbing down and making the job even easier to attract EVEN MORE incompetent dicks to the world of trucking.
Ford invented this due to the number of dumbasses over here who can’t drive properly
