We are due to pull out of an exhibition north of Paris (Villepinte) and return to Calais on the 1st of May - is this likely to be a holiday in France and is HGV driving permitted on that day - we would be travelling by Motorway.

It is listed as a holiday on my calendrier and as such the usual HGV movements will be banned, normally from midnight Saturday to 10pm Monday. There was some talk of a bank holiday being downgraded this year in aid of charity or something, not sure if it is this one though or how that would affect the law.
If I get the answer from one of my mates before Coffee dives in, I’ll let you know
