heard on the truckers grapevine that they will place a motor where the driver lives??
any one know if this is true?

Try going through some old threads,there was something about Matthews on here a couple of months ago.
The general concencus seemed to be that the money is crap and stay clear.
Does seem to be true I go by a place near Barnard Castle and 4 of Matthews are usually parked up their every weekend
I used to know a few of Matthews’ drivers and they used to run from home.
I don’t think the money is fantastic but the job is varied and the back up 1st class.
My knowledge is 5 years out of date now but most of the drivers back then were long termers so thats got to say something.
By the way I asked a mate of mine why I was seeing a rake of matthews units pulling boxes and he said they’d just lost the Bernard “bootiful” Matthews work.
Sounds like a blessing in disguise after the bird flu problems he’s been having.
