as i check the headlines on commercal motor marmex has been in trouble with t c and i think they have lost there o/licence

Why does this keep happening? Locally we’ve had several firms where the o licence passes between family members and employees to keep the wheels turning. Surely the TC and VOSA have powers to stop this type of fraud

They do and if the TC finds out, they will revoke - it’s called fronting. Finding out is their problem.
from the grapevine over a couple of days mr lench was running a cowboy outfit about 4/5 yrs ago as no vehicle had a operators licence as he got refused by vosa and he been done for insurance claim it was in local paper eada but was rent a o/licence
