For the record, the Dutch quarter is a no go for trucks. It’s not the way to or from M&S or anywhere else really. Only a complete bell end would even think it was worth trying.
I’ve delivered some plant to the bottom end near the park and it’s pretty much a turn round and back down the St.Peter’ s Street as far as possible and unload and track it to where you want to go.
M&S is serviced from an underground service yard off Vineyard street, this lorry was heading up the hill towards the shop rather than away from it. He’d obviously driven down St. Peters street past the 26’ length limit signs and just blindly carried on. Most people with a brain would stop and think is this right? Maybe I’ll have a little wander, ask or check Google.
Once you get to the park it’s obviously going to be awkward to continue, but easy enough to reverse out.
