Translation of the above is
Plenty of work - They’ll run you ragged and max hours all the time
good money - yes, but it’s because you’ll be doing two full time jobs not one to earn it…
good kit - possibly, but variable depending on where you’re based
piece of ■■■■ - yes, if you like experiencing all the above

Yep, agree, go for it and you’ll find out…just remind us of the hourly rate at Maritime fella…
I suppose your on popstar wages then truckulent? Maritime are a good company to work for and the money is good fir sitting on your arse all day. There are a lot worse out there to work for trust me
Once again someone has posted a question on here, question answered and straight away that answer is attacked with little or no foundation.
As for maritime, since working for them the least I’ve ever taken home(after tax etc) is £420, the most £700. I’ve never been made to work all the hours under the sun, as far as the law is concerned (drivers hours etc) they are to the letter of the law.
All the tractor units are high spec, all rm carried out at main dealer, some of the trailers are newer than others, but if their is an issue all you do is make a call to fleet and this is fixed.
Plus their are many more positives I could add.
If I didn’t like it at maritime I wouldn’t work here, and if someone asked me a question I will always answer in an honest way.
Yes they may be better paid jobs, but they will be few and far between.
So my advice to someone who is thinking of driving for maritime is, apply for job, and at the interview ask about pay and conditions etc, I think you will be very supprised .
Don belive half of the negative comments you read on here.
Thanks for some sensible feedback. I don’t expect to earn £20 an hour for no work, just a realistic wage for a professional job! Some people have been spoilt with jobs where they only work 40 hrs, I am quite used to 70 hr weeks , and maybe I’m one of the few who still looks for job satisfaction!
