MARITIME PROFESSIONAL DRIVER SCHEME

Hi,I am a new driver with Class C license,I am looking for work and have found the MARITIME PROFESSIONAL DRIVER SCHEME has anyone had any experience of it seems like they train you as C/E driver but there is no details of pay etc ■■?

I assumed you had to have a C+E licence to be taken on by their scheme.

Think they have a deal with scania driver training to put you through C+E if you do not hold it

Scania Maritime Professional Driver Partnership

Scania and Maritime Transport have teamed up to deliver the Maritime Professional Driver Scheme. Anyone passing their category CE licence (Class 1) with Scania is guaranteed an interview with Maritime. All customers that pass their licence receive a comprehensive record of their achievements during their training and this is taken to your interview as evidence. The programme is aimed at new drivers, however if you already have your CE licence you can still apply directly to Maritime.

In the past many newly qualified drivers needed to gain experience to get a full time employed position with a reputable company. In the case of the Maritime Professional Driver Scheme this is not the case because all newly qualified drivers who are accepted by Maritime are supported as part of the programme.

Scania look after you every step of the way, if you are interested in the programme you should call Scania Training Services on 0345 4507735 (all calls are inclusive of your bundled mobile minutes) or email driver.training@scania.com. If you email please provide your contact telephone number, location and any other information you may feel is relevant.
