I have worked for maritime in Northampton for about 6 months now and can safely say that their the worst company that I have ever worked for.
Drivers are leaving in droves, they can’t recruit and management stick their head in the sand and add additional often impossible amount of work to the existing drivers thus creating worse situation.
Cant wait to leave but thought Id warn my fellow drivers the situation in case they applied inadvertently.
You managed 6 months, surely if it was that bad you would have left after 6 days
your preaching to the converted here mate.their reputation precedes them like a tsunami though jbreeda is a fair candidate for making a fortune being a subbie owner driver for them…( after he leaves school and so long as his mam says he can stay out late)…

But if everything so bad that why all drivers still work .But if company working and drivers not leaving that all may be no so bad.All bepend from situation and examples. Some drivers moaning about everything .May by just Coca cola contract it is not so easy job that go to dock and back.
Iv never ever worked for them and from what I have seen close up I never will thankfully.
The office lads seem to come from an endless production line all looking the same with slick hair and ■■■■■’s and pointy shoes…
The seem to have huge egos and treat drivers with a lack of respect,
But Iv seen a lot of there drivers take all the crap off them and not say anything but then moan outside the office,if you won’t stand up for yourself then they will continue to act this way…
At one depot the driver trainer walks round like he is a god and they honestly think that they set the standard for the transport industry,
If you listen to there owner talk you would think it’s a great outfit, well he can’t be daft and must know what happens,
I too have been with the company for about the same length of time and quite frankly do not agree with the above post. Perhaps you could be more specific about what in your opinion makes it such a bad job.

Why would you not bother enquiring about a job at Teesport because of what some bloke on the internet said about what it’s like at Northampton? Different depots, different contracts, different office staff, different environments.
i used to work for them out of northampton and i honestly couldn’t say a bad thing about them. i only left because of personal reasons not because of them

He isn’t daft mate. That’s why he has lot’s of dough.
His number plate 1 JHW is worth more than most peoples cars…
The general rule is this, those who moan about a particular job have done nothing in transport they moan and think the whole business should revolve around them they are always unwilling to to be flexible and to help out when needed, the job could be the transport equivilant of Butlins but they still Pi$$ and moan my advice is this.
Go back to driving busses or fitting tyres or whatever the ■■■■ you did previously and leave the driving of trucks to drivers.
