Better than ours, but I understand they want their ‘Pound of Flesh’
As I said Hours are Maxed out.
I can only guess at around £600 to £700 before tax a week.
I gave the number to a mate of mine & he got the job, but only lasted a month, he was like a Zombie & totally burned out.
They are advertising again in the beds times & citizen this week.
Does anyone know if they use any agencies? I fancy giving it a go but am planning on travelling again so it will only be for 3-6 months this time so don’t really want to apply to get taken on and then leave a few months later. Also does anyone no what agency Stobarts in rugby use?? Cheers

Just go for it, most people only last a few months anyway !
(You never know, you might like it & decide to not go travelling after all or do all your travelling whilst being paid !)

steve! steve! don’t waste your time, stay on the agency if you are ltd co. especially if you want to go travelling , even if its good money , I am in your area mk/ northhampton you will earn £11-12 p.h. all day long on the agency , leave the £8-9 hr. to the cab happy muppets who would rather shag their wagon!!!

you would think it is good though as if you have a day off and your motor goes out and anything is wrong with it when u get back in the previous driver can be traced also in our yard we know how others treat there trucks so they genrally get kept clean and tidy

What agency’s are worth approaching around there? I’ll be based in Bedford. I’m thinking of moving up for a couple of months from the southwest. I have held my class 1 for about 4-5 years now but have never had a proper driving job as have been workshop based and just get to go out every once in a while! Should my chances still be ok on the agency?

my mate does tramping with them through revolution, think theres plenty other agencys involved.
Hi mate, if you are based around the Bedford area the agencies I would sign on for are:- hrgo,northampton. dds, irthlingborough.
respond, Biggleswade.and if you want to go further try, prodrive or nationwide st,albans/hitchin a week ago they were contacting all drivers on there past books to go into yodel for £14 p.h. s/e nights at Hatfield …ongoing work… best of luck!
