Maritime making a move up north

You could count on all ten fingers and ten toes in the last 20 year I’ve seen a maritime lorry in Scotland. But now they have taken over the running of mossend north rail terminal (euro central) and have by the looks of it around 20 trucks based there. Also heard on the grapevine they are opening a second depot in eurocentral and are wanting the db schenker railhead in Grangemouth.

What’s the script? No new work kicking about so must mean they have snaffled work but from who? Russells, Malcolms, Stobarts, freightliner, Mitchells?

Tescos work ?

There looking to move in big time and the smaller companies are panicking. Its already out they are trying to buy a company just for the contracts they have.

That wouldn’t be a company with two tone blue lorries, would it?

Talking about spys and spying, make sure if you get a job there to keep smiling for the in cab observation cameras.

The word ‘bargepole’ seems to come into my mind.
