Maritime HELP!

Hi,

I am looking to expand and buy my first truck, after doing some reaserch I’ve found Maritime ‘Buy With Work’ scheme that offers guranteed miles, good fuel prices etc.

After I’ve done some calculations it came out to make a gross profit of £39k and that’s without my wage is this even possible? Also I’ve included fuel consumption of 8mpg.

What do you think about all Maritime idea?

Thanks!

Ps: If any Maritime drivers, can you tell me how much you earn?

   is all I’ve got to say here.

I think 9k would be closer to the truth!

Personally I think you may have hit a wrong button on the calculator. 39k profit is almost unheard of nowadays, especially for a new operator.

And don’t use there fuel card get your own as they ad a bit on top rha keyfuel card is good but the topic has been done to death

Just to humour me, can you post your calculations here to show us how you’ve come to £39k please.

Yeah, that could be good for a laugh… If you can make £0.39k after you’ve taken your wages then you’re doing better than most people seem to.

Paul

If £39k is your gross profit, what do you calculate your net profit to be before tax?

This is another Rose tinted glasses person…spend a few hours with one of us who has worked for themselves buy him beer and listen, then do the sums again whilst sober .

Theres no way it will come out to your numbers in reality or they would have there own driver in making them the profit FFS.
Anyone with money in the bank would do it as a fantastic investment the returns are that good !!! Send us everything and wait for a reality check. Please…or you may live to regret it !

sorry to jump on the band wagon but what research have you done?

Maritime are advertised on every truck magazine/newspaper and internet search.

Someone i know went on with them with the truck and work scheme, he has signed up for maintenance through them as well and couldn’t make it pay so he has binned them off and got other work but unfortunately still tied in with them for truck and maintenance.

Do not go with their ‘buy with work’ scheme

Do not even buy a truck from them

They will do whatever they can to get out of paying the guarantee, such as swap jobs between weeks so that you earn just enough each week to cover it, factual evidence can be obtained of this claim

I am an ex maritime subby, and it is EX for a reason

Lol, 39k profit a year after wages, put me down for 10 shagger!!!

You’d be better off taking the money you have in the bank & smoking it, trust me.

tbh there’s so many threads on here about starting up for maritime I’m wondering if we should charge them for advertising

How can you be expanding but only buying your first lorry? Is this Mr Maritime phishing again?

Surely sometime soon Maritime will run out of people without access to google.

No mate, there’s one born every minute unfortunately, I bet that John Williams fellow I’d absolutely coining it in.

not saying you are having a go or anything, but, just to put a few people straight here ‘Mr Maritime’ John Williams is actually a decent man, very honest and trustworthy, i have had the pleasure of meeting him a few times whilst i was subbing for them

that said though, some of the people in the depots are a bunch of pillocks

It could be said that :

Bit of a different tone to your last post !!! Has he sent the boys to visit or are you trying to get out of your debts to him ? Hahaha
Nice , civil and mild mannered maybe…Ruthless [ zb] still though…how many poor sods have tried this and lost their life saving and ended up in debt over it , not to mention divorced by the stress. Behave !

Or perhaps it the best scheme ever and its just the unlucky ones that failed !!!
