Went to the pallex hub in Leicester on behalf of another haulier today, my first RDC experience, with little information given on the gates (a number on a piece of paper to stick in the window and a card paper clipped to it) I was pretty much lost once I’d arrived at my bay. 
Got chatting to the driver next to me from Hicks who explained where to hand the keys, all the procedures, all about the hub and even helped with some straps once I got myself in a faff after the previous driver had wrapped it around the ratchet without taking it apart. 
When I was told to go to a hub I was expecting to be sat in a waiting room all day with nobody around to help me get around the place and all the talk of unhelpful drivers around.
