manual tacho

good day people does anyone know at what speed does a manual tacho actually mark the disc■■?

Today I was parked in a residential street done me off load at a building site. after that I had my WTD break, builders took theirs at the same time so I turned the tacho to rest, during the “rest” an old boy asked me to move forward 2 foot I decided to oblige as I was in the wrong only just. I moved at less than walking pace stopped and carried on. not sure if tacho got marked for going so slow.

cheers all.

Did you look at the chart? Often in that scenario, the mode trace will record a little line for driving but no speed trace movement is recorded.

i forgot to look at it ill try n remember tomorrow  and get back.

i think it will record but as far as imm aware you can make a note on the reverse of the tacho sure theres an allowance for that sort of thing long as your not making a habit of it

If it is a cd tray style tacho, you’ll see the mode symbol change over to driving. In the trucks I’ve drove, it’s took 0.00000001mph pretty much to make it register as driving. I think you will be VERY lucky if it’s not shown up on the chart

Would that be the same allowance for forgetting to change the mode from other work to break

lol no thats a deff infringment and a wrist slap but things happen thats life fellas, be a hard arse who done yer for a move while on break went half hour over driving limit last week due to an accident on the 25 just wrote it on reverse of printout sometimes things cant be helped its called life !

Also assuming OP means ANALOGUE not manual
