MANSHOBA is a comedy showband led by Pete Smythe — the driver trainer from Mansfield. It’s purpose is to entertain and raise money for good causes. This coming Friday and Saturday (26th and 27th April) MANSHOBA are performing at Skegby Parish Hall — 10 minutes from M1 junc 28 in aid of Comic Relief.
Tickets are available on the door at £5. Nibbles provided but bring your own drinks. Doors open 6.30 for 7pm start.
This is a perfect opportunity to put a face to the name — and gather loads of ammo to use over the coming weeks. For starters — 15 stone of trucker dressed in blue tights!! And it gets worse!
Come along if you can and have a great night out. It’s a clean show so perfectly suitable for the kids as well. (and granny).
Hope to see some fellow truckers there supporting Comic Relief.
PS The band is available for parties etc. You can pm me or phone 07795 575767
These are the directions to save the phone calls:
M1 junc 28. Follow A38 towards Mansfield. Continue over several sets of lights. Look for hospital on right and Mc D’s on left. Continue straight forward. 2nd lights turn left and get straight into the right lane. Follow for around a mile, passing a Jet garage on your left. Down hill, round the left bend and the hall is on the right. Parking is on the road.
Look forward to seeing you, Pete
Quick update. Raised £540.00. Happy days, Pete
