Is it open yet or at least passable for hgv’s or would I need to take a diversion ?

Was it legally driven through ? I’ve heard it’s only open to cars but no one I’ve spoke too knows for sure .

have to come off at the a6 turn off, quick diversion around 2mins, (a6 to roundabout, higher ardwick,left onto a665)… :wink:

When are they due to stop dicking around on the manky way? I may have to drop at Manchester on the way back north Thur & Fri :frowning:

The sinkhole has reopened on the Mancunian Way this morning, forcing engineers to close the route again in both directions.

A Manchester council spokesman confirmed that the Mancunian Way was closed in both directions on Tuesday morning (September 15) over safety concerns.

There is currently no estimate for when the busy route will reopen again.

Oh f’ng great!!

Wish they’d move the depot to somewhere sensible rather than Baring St. FFS. Think a building had just collapsed on a car last time I was sent there :laughing:

Yup, although I’m agency (got the limp to prove it), any shifts I’ve done in the last 3yrs have all been out of Fedex Gretna. Silage and harvest are just about finished so plan is to be driving pretty much full-time from October through March, 1st cut of silage starts in April and round we go again :unamused: :laughing:
