Thinking of a change have seen a job advert for loading the planes with food
Money seems ok just under a 10ner an hour then time and half after 40 hours
Anyone done this sort of work or should I give it a wide berth
I assume this is for Alpha LSG?
If so I’ve been working for them at a different airport now for 2 years.
The work is varied and technically very little in the way of driving. Its either something you will really enjoy or it just won’t suit you.
Where I work we do get out on the road a fair bit as we have to fetch our equipment from larger units but this won’t be the case from Manchester.
Assume this is thru an agency, it is seasonal and you will be almost certain to be laid off at the end of the season, but Xmas work flows in then. Always fancied it myself, but I don,t work during the summer, I would go for it, if you hate it you can bail out and if you love it might be your foot in the door to something permanent, whats to lose?
