Agree with you mate. What a piece of junk.Takes too much room and easy to break climbing out of the bunk.

I find it bloody awkward to get on the bunk with it in the way. The only useful bit of it is the table but I’m going to get some of that rail that they use on caravans to attach a small table on the front of the bunk in daytimes. Had a fan housing door left over from doing my kitchen up so going to fit a folding leg underneath and it makes a nice little walnut table.
ive got a tga with the fridge in took it off the runner and even with the fridge compressor at the back of it the fridge i can push the fridge far enough under the bed to now be able to sit on the bed,the fridge is the worst thing about the xxl xlx cab why MAN persist in fitting it this way is beyond me the new euro6 version is the same, they obviously didnt do any driver surveys into the ne cab.my mate has binned his and put his own fridge under the bed it makes the cab feel much more roomier,so come on MAN trucks listen to the drivers of the motors you build and ditch that bloody silly fridge/coolbox and fit a better desinged one kuda can manage it and bens cabinets do a nice conversion but very exspensive

830 euro, need some nights out to recoup that outlay. took mine out and now have a halfords 40 ltr coolbox which sits in its place without sticking out from under the bunk. £80 is all i paid
How have you retained it in place Getz, so it doesn’t fly forward if you have to brake hard?

a slim cargo strap from the bunk stays has done the trick, looking at fixing an L shape plate screwed to floor for a more permanent solution.
