am struggling with the standard a frame suzzies are at full stretch all the time can you buy a spacer kit for moving it away from the cab or is it a chop grind and weld job
get longer suzies or move the trailer closer
cant and cant
what about fitting one of them swing frame things that the supermarkets have on theirs?
nope cant a frame needs moving back looks like its only held on with a couple of bolts each side
thanks theres an idea with the additional a frame was trying to keep things a little simpler by trying to move the one on it but its an option
When you say “A” frame…Do mean a wagon and drag A frame or the frame behind the cab of a tractor unit?
the one behind the cab
One of those jobs that once you start it might be a lot more work than you imagine particularly if there’s not much slack in the lines/wires. You can get susies made to extra length.

You read my mind and if the solutions Shuttlespanker came up with arn’t viable then it doesn’t leave you many options.
I drove Culina years ago and a lot of their outfits were piped up to the rear chassis crossmember and underneath the trailer, there were couplings on both ends of the lines.
What is the problem your having Lee?
get yerself pulling 40 ft containers for a week lee, i did 2 weeks on them before xmas and now my airlines are about 10ft long, coupled back up to a 45ft trailer for the first time today and i,ve got more suzies than i know what to do with!
