Does anyone know how to stop ‘repeat light test’ message from appearing when you turn ignition on? It goes off after a few seconds but it’s just one of those things that gets on my nerves!
I don’t think you can stop it on the latest ones, I think it only comes up if the ignition has been off for so long and it thinks you should do the light test again
Crap!! It’s only just started to do it to be honest though after I had to change one of the rear lamps. Oh well
Press the test button again, that stops the light test or turn off the ignition.

He doesn’t mean that toby, I know what you’re thinking, on the old 1 when you set it doing the light test, and you got back in the cab it still said ‘light test’ and you just flicked the main beam or hit the button again to stop it.
But the new MAN’s as you to ‘repeat light test’ when the ignition has been off for a certain length of time, it’s quite annoying tbh

had the same problem before after a bulb change ,repeat the test without interruption like it states in the manual.
Press the light test button, turn the ignition off, let it run through a couple of tests then put main beam on and hold it on whilst you turn the ignition back on. If I remember correctly.

Cheers AF1, you were almost spot on! Tried that, didn’t quite work. Tried holding the main beam whilst it was running the test, it then comes up with message ‘END light test’, seems to have taken away the ‘REPEAT light test’ message when you 1st turn on ignition, all my problems have been solved!
